One of the groups at the ACI conference was Enterprise Community Partners. They’re doing great work with green communities and affordable housing. As they ask/state on their website, What would you sacrifice to heat [or cool] your home? Groceries? Health Care? Rent? With energy-efficient affordable homes, families don’t have to make desperate trade-offs.
The neat thing is how they are demonstrating that energy-efficiency makes sense in affordable housing and communities. And if it can (and it certainly can!) be done in low-income housing, it can be done in the rest of housing, too!
Thanks,
Mike
